In our two science units of the year, Plants and Soil, we will be taking the time to do a few fun experiments.

Last week we looked at different soil samples and the inside of bean seeds. Last Friday we mixed soil with water in mason jars and shook the mixture up. We will examine the different layers we see this week during our science lessons. 

We are also hoping to discuss parts of a plant and their function later next week.
