We have  recently started using literacy centers in the classrooms.

With literacy centers, students are given the opportunity to develop their literacy skills.

Some of the activities in our centers include finding specific sounds in a text, listening to reading, reading a book and drawing pictures of their favorite page. One of the centers is also reading with either myself or Mlle Nicholson.

We will work hard to add a new center every now and then to keep things fresh. These are purposeful activities that are helping our students develop their literacy skills and we are very proud of how hard they areworking in their center during center time.
